Join us for an informative and engaging afternoon focused on scholarship opportunities and accessible education. This seminar is designed for blind students and families who want to learn more about funding education and the tools that support academic success.
Date: February 21, 2026
Location: Colorado Center for the Blind
2233 W. Shepherd Avenue
Littleton, CO 80120
Schedule:
Lunch will be served at 12:15 PM, followed by the scholarship seminar from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Pizza lunch is included!)
During the seminar, you will learn how to apply for National Federation of the Blind of Colorado state scholarships and national NFB scholarships. We will also share information about additional scholarship opportunities available to blind students. Past scholarship winners will speak about their experiences, and participants will learn about tactile graphics and why they are critical for full access to education.
By the way, you are also invited to attend the Denver Chapter Meeting earlier in the day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. During the meeting, we will explore 3-D tactile puzzles and enjoy hands-on origami activities.

If you are not in the Denver Metro area, no worries—Zoom access will be available so you can still participate.
